Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation

This procedure uses radiofrequency wave therapy to treat superficial venous reflux (backward flow of blood in leg veins), which can cause symptoms of pain, heaviness and fatigue in your legs. This procedure is performed in our office with minimal downtime after the intervention. Our surgeons uses cutting-edge technology to close diseased veins using concentrated radiofrequency energy. The body then redirects blood flow through healthier veins to improve your overall circulation and alleviate your symptoms.

Microphlebectomy

An ambulatory microphlebectomy is a procedure performed in the office to remove large, bulging varicosities. The area around the vein is infused with numbing solution. Tiny incisions are made by the surgeon, in order to remove the vein. Because these incisions are so small, the scars are often barely even noticeable.

Sclerotherapy

A very popular treatment to eliminate spider veins and small varicose veins in the legs and other parts of the body like chest, breast, back and others.

Ultrasound guided Sclerotherapy and Varithena

Ultrasound guided Sclerotherapy is a variation of sclerotherapy performed with ultrasound guidance that involves the injection of a sclerosing agent, like Polidocanol (Varithena) and STS. The microfoam works by coating the lining of the vein to collapse the vein and make it disappear. This minimally invasive procedure is very safe and effective.

Venaseal

The VenaSeal procedure is a minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins. It involves the use of a medical adhesive to seal the damaged vein and redirect blood flow to healthy veins. During the procedure, the doctor will insert a small catheter into the affected vein using ultrasound guidance. Once in place, the doctor will inject the VenaSeal adhesive into the vein. The adhesive then seals the incompetent vein.

Venous Ultrasound

A venous ultrasound is a diagnostic test that uses sound waves to create images of the veins in the body. It is a non-invasive and painless procedure that is commonly used to evaluate the function of the veins in the legs. During the exam, a small handheld device called a transducer is used to transmit sound waves through the skin and into the veins. The sound waves bounce back from the veins and are detected by the transducer, which then creates an image of the veins on a computer screen.

Bulging Hand Veins Treatment

As we age the skin loses its elasticity and the veins sometimes become more prominent even without medical issues. Prominent hand veins are not typically a health issue but can be a cosmetic concern for some people. The most definitive treatment alternatives include sclerotherapy and microphlebectomies; sometimes used in a combined fashion according to the clinical findings.
