- Hydration: Drink 16–24 oz of water prior to your appointment (unless contraindicated by a medical condition) to help optimize your physical exam and vein visualization if ultrasound mapping is performed.

- Attire: Wear loose, comfortable clothing or shorts that are easy to change out of for leg examinations. (If needed, we will provide shorts or disposable gowns.)

- Skincare: Avoid applying heavy lotions or oils to your legs on the day of your exam.
